PML-N MNA Shaukat Butt granted interim bail

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Sohail Shaukat Butt, accused of three murders, was granted interim bail on Monday.
The court granted him bail against surety bond of Rs 50,000 in all the three cases and directed him to appear before the court on the next date of hearing on Oct 21.
Earlier, the court had issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Sohail Shaukat Butt, after he disobeyed the court orders and did not appear before the court. On Monday, three different courts of Additional District and Sessions Judge Tariq Javed, Additional Sessions Judge Arshad Ali and Additional District and Sessions Judge Kaleem Khan heard the cases against him.  –Reporter
After the cases were instituted in the courts, the accused had been granted pre-arrest bail in murder case of Tariq Muawiya and after arrest bails in two murder cases of Mushtaq Ghurki, the brother-in-law of former Federal Minister Samina Khalid Ghurki, and Babar Butt Lakhodairya.
