OKARA - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan Wednesday declared Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as the ‘most corrupt person’ in the country, private TV channels reported.
“Sharif is the biggest tax evader of Pakistan. He only paid Rs470 in four years in taxes. Even Zardari was better than Nawaz in governance and controlling corruption in the country,” said Imran Khan while addressing a public gathering in Okara. “The PM’s job has become only begging the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for more aid,” Khan alleged.
Khan said he was more popular than any prime minister ever elected in Pakistan.
The PTI chairman alleged Nawaz of money laundering, tax evasion and corruption, demanding an investigation against the prime minister.
Speaking against prime minister’s Kisan package, he said it was a ‘bluff’ with farmers. “Out of total 14 points agenda, nine points were introduced in the last budget,” said the PTI chairman.
Imran said, “PML-N, their family and their corrupt party members have experience of mega corruption and how to become billionaires in days.”
