Karachi: The All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) has announced that member publications of the APNS will observe closed holiday on Wednesday October 12 on account of Ashura the 10th Muharram ul Haram.

Consequently, there will be no morning newspapers on Thursday, October 13 whereas the evening newspapers not appearing onWednesday, October 12 may bring out their editions on Thursday, October 13, 2016, if they so desire, it stated in issued press release.
