ISLAMABAD - Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif appreciated yesterday the high state of morale, operational preparedness and vigil being maintained by troops along the Working Boundary and international border.
According to ISPR Army Chief made these remarks while talking to officers and soldiers of Punjab Rangers during a visit to their headquarters in Lahore on Friday.
General Raheel Sharif was given a detailed briefing by DG Rangers Major General Umar Farooq Burki about the operational preparedness of the paramilitary force.
Army Chief also laid floral wreath at Shuhada Memorial to pay homage to martyrs who rendered sacrifices for the defence of the motherland.
On arrival, the Army chief was received by Commander Lahore Corps Lieutenant Gen Sadiq Ali.
