he Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to protest inside the Parliament against party president Shahbaz Sharif's arrest in Ashiana Housing Scheme case.

This decision was taken during a Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of the PML-N chaired by former premier Nawaz Sharif.

The party members decided to protest against Shahbaz's arrest and yesterday's press conference by Prime Minister Imran Khan inside the Parliament. Some party leaders also suggested taking protest into the streets, some participants opposed this idea as protesting in streets is not in the best interest of the country

Earlier today, a meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Central Executive Committee has started in Model Town, Lahore.

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif chaired the meeting. The overall situation of the country and the party's future political strategy discussed during the meeting.

Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider, Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif and other PML-N leaders are present in the meeting.

This was the first formal party meeting that Nawaz is chairing since after his release from Adiala jail last month.
