Diplomats, students, Bhuddist community visit Gandhara

ISLAMABAD - Foreign diplomats, students of various educational institutions and Pakistani Buddhist community representatives on Thursday attended the third day of Gandhara Festival held at Taxila Museum.
Third day of festival began with school students trips to the Dharmarajika archaeological site where storytelling sessions were held, Director Center for Culture and Development Izzah Khan told mediamen.
She said that Japanese Counselor and head of Culture and Public Information Section also visited the site and was briefed by CCD team. A Korean delegation also visited the site.
Students of various schools also visited the Dharmarajika site and they attended the storytelling sessions. Later, they also visited Gandhara Festival.
The Buddhist community representatives, who have come all the way from Sindh, spent the day visiting the photographic exhibition and paid visit at Dharmarajika Stupa, a sacred land for them.
