MULTAN - Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) has accelerated steps to equip company with latest machinery for ideal cleanliness in city as 103 new vehicles will be purchased at a cost of Rs170 million in first phase. Swift sanitation system will be established and employment opportunities also be created with purchase of new machinery. MWMC CEO Farooq Dogar expressed these views while talking to citizens on the occasion of inspection of the Milad procession. As many as 68 mini-tippers are being bought for cleanliness in the streets and towns while 19 tractor trolleys and 14 loaders will be included in the vehicle fleet. Farooq said that two road washer trucks were also being purchased for washing the roads while the process of purchasing machinery will be completed in two months. The company management has been directed to prepare new machinery distribution and parking plan. New human resource consisted of 491 people was also being recruited in the company.
