Our Staff Reporter MULTAN - Youm-e-Khatam-e-Nubuwat was celebrated with religious fervour as many functions and conferences took place here on Wednesday. The major event was organized by Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) under the title of Faateh Qadianiat Conference at Qila Qasim Bagh and Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan Tajdar-e-Nubuwat Conference at Multan Press Club. Through unanimously adopted resolutions, the participants and speakers of all events demanded of the government to stop Qadianis from practicing Islamic rituals and pretending as Muslims. Paying glowing tributes to the leaders and workers of Tehreek Khatam-e-Nubuwat, the speakers commemorated their sacrifices and struggle during the movement. The speakers included Ayub Moghal, Qari Ahmad Mian, former MNA Sheikh Tahir Rasheed, Syed Khurshid Abbad Gardezi, Arshad Niazi, Allama Mazhar Saeed Kazmi, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah and others. They said that the clerics and common citizens participated in the Khatam-e-Nubuwat Movement under the leadership of Maulana Shah Ahmad Norani irrespective of their sectarian affiliations and achieved a historic milestone on September 7. It was the most important day of Pakistans parliamentary history when Qadianis were declared non-Muslim. It proved last nail in the coffin of Qadianis, they added.
