LAHORE - Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry Wednesday called for a comprehensive report from the Punjab Health Secretary, the District Coordination Officer (DCO) and other relevant departments of the district administration as to the measures adopted so far to counter dengue and to treat the patients suffering from dengue fever disease. On the petition of Advocate Noshab A Khan the court also directed the respondents to let it know in writing within a week as to why they failed to timely check the spread of the dengue virus and why not quality material is being used as alleged by the petitioner, to spray on the places where dengue threat existed.
