Karachi - Four people including a local PML-F leader were gunned down in separate acts of violence in the metropolis on Saturday.

Some armed assailants gunned down PML-F leader Khanzada Sawati, 45, in Taiser Town area. Surjani Town police said the victim was sitting near his residence when unidentified armed pillion riders shot him dead and managed to escape from the scene. His body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy and later, handed over the heirs. In the precincts of Shahr-e-Faisal police, a 30-year-old man namely Zeeshan was gunned down near Rabia City in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Police said the victim was on his way to home when at least two armed riders shot him twice and killed.  Separately, a vegetable vendor namely Sher Ali was gunned in Qasba Colony. Pirabad police said the victim was sitting at his stall where armed riders shot him dead and managed to flee from the scene. Police handed over the body to his family after completing medico-legal formalities at ASH.

In another incident, a rickshaw driver namely Kamil Khan was killed after he was attacked near the KESC office. The body was shifted to ASH for autopsy.
