A deadly virus that has killed many people has now reached Balochistan. Out of the 5 cases of Congo virus that have emerged in Balochistan, one of them is that of a 12 year-old girl. She is currently admitted in Fatima Jinnah TB Sanatorium Hospital, where there is a lack of facilities and medical machinery regarding the treatment of the virus. It is often argued that, Congo virus thrives in Balochistan due to the absence of disinfection facilities, but little action is being taken. I urge the government to take appropriate measures to control the disease in every province and save numerous lives at risk.
