Music is termed as vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion. The history of music is found in the ancient era before 500 AD. It can be argued that the first musical instrument was music itself. In the old days, people used to sing songs and use everyday things as musical instruments.
Initially, musical performances relied on the singer. As technology developed and many other musical instruments were invented, music became fast and loud. The invention of loudspeakers and woofers increased the volume at which music could be listened to. But as scientists studied about the hazards of loud music, the trend of listening to loud music came to an end in the West and people began giving importance to the quality of music rather than to its loudness.
Although music provides mental relief and pleasure to a person, listening to extremely loud music can lead to hearing loss. In Pakistan, people are still fond of loud music, whether they are listening to it through loudspeakers or headphones. Another study suggests that listening to loud music while driving inspires the driver to drive faster. So, in some situations, loud music is not only fatal for your medical health but for your life as well.
