A lot of people in Pakistan do not have access to water that is safe to drink. Water pollution has led to numerous diseases and taken countless lives. People who are compelled to buy water from tankers are at the risk of contracting diseases like typhoid, diarrhoea, intestinal worms, and hepatitis. It has taken the life of more than 350,000 children in a year, and poses a serious risk to a million others. I request the government to provide people with clean drinking water and protect the lives of its citizens.
