Commanders meeting today

ISLAMABAD - The top brass of Pakistan Army will meet today (Wednesday) to take stock of the overall internal and external security situation.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif will chair the corps commanders' conference to be held at GHQ.
Host of crucial issues including government-Taliban peace talks, security situation on Pakistan- Afghan and eastern border with India, Karachi operation and Balochistan situation will come under discussion. The meeting will discuss and review professional matters including preparedness of the armed forces. 
Agencies add: Sources said the army top brass will also review criticism on the military institution, besides discussing issue pertaining to former military ruler Pervez Musharraf's issue.
The commanders will also discuss the post-dialogue situation in the country.
Corps commanders, principal staff officers (PSOs), general officers commanding (GOCs) and other senior officials will be in attendance at the conference.
