Shutter down in Sindh against attacks on minorities

HYDERABAD- There was a complete shutter down in some cities of Interior Sindh on the call of Jea Sindh Mutahida Mohaz (JSQM).

The traffic on roads remained lean and commuters faced difficulty owing to missing public transport. Shopping centres and shops remained closed in various cities and towns in the interior Sindh. Heavy contingents of police have been deployed to meet any eventuality. Cities and towns hit hard by the strike include Johi Mehr and Kherpur Nathan. In Hyderabad, partial strike was observed. In thickly populated areas the shops remained opened while in the suburban areas, the strike was observed. In Moro, Shahi, Resham and Shoes bazaars remained closed. In Jamshoro, Liaqat Medical, Sindh University and Mehran University were closed along with other institution. In Daulatpur, Mehrabpur Kashmore and Ghotki business centres were closed. Complete shutter down in Badin was also reported.
