Commissioner Rawalpindi transferred by Punjab government

Rawalpindi   -  The Government of Punjab has transferred Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Capt (Retd) Muhammad Mehmood, a notification said. Gulzar Hussain Shah, Chairman Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, Punjab, replaced Muhammad Mehmood as new Commissioner Rawalpindi Division. A notification in this regard has also been issued by Jawad Raffique Malik, Chief Secretary, on behalf of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar. According to details, government of Punjab has transferred Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Capt (Retd) Muhammad Mehmood and his services are repatriated to Establishment Division, government of Pakistan, for further orders. 

They said Gulzar Hussain Shah (PAS/BS-21), Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, Punjab as new Commissioner Rawalpindi Division. The newly appointed Commissioner has assumed the charge, they said. 

Meanwhile, two station house officers were also transferred by Inspector General of Police Islamabad and City Police Officer Rawalpindi.

According to a police spokesman, IG Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman has transferred SHO Police Station Industrial Area due to his bad health condition. Similarly, CPO Muhammad Ahsan Younas has also transferred SHO PS Kallar Syedan SI Qaiser Rashid.
