ISLAMABAD (APP) - Federal Ministry for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Babar Awan on Saturday called upon the Muslim scholars to utilize all their energies on the research work for the benefit of Muslim Ummah. He stated this while addressing at the concluding ceremony of Training course on Imams, organised by the Dawah Academy of Islamic University of International (IIU). He urged Ulema to their vital role in bring the positive thinking in the minds of young generation. Dr. Babar said that it is the need of hour to change the education system across the country for the socio-economic prosperity of the country. The Minister said that Ulema should be taught about the importance of the modern science and technology education to the public, to compete the global competition for development. Babar Awan said that Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) is the source of guidance for the Muslim Ummah as well as all humanity across the world. He urged them to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for global peace and prosperity. Chairman Dawah Academy IIU Sahabzada Sajidur Rehman also spoke on the occasion and presented the performance report of the Academy. The Federal Minister on the occasion also awarded the certificate among the 40 students who attended the two-month training course.
