ISLAMABAD (APP) - Samina Fazil, President of Islamabad Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI), on Monday said that women entrepreneurs should diversify their businesses to excel and play important role in the national development. She said that majority of business women were too much focused on few sectors while few would venture in other areas which show lack of confidence. Samina Fazil was speaking to women entrepreneurs at the beginning of a three-month training programme organized by Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). "Women both at home and work front have become the backbone of the society; they are able to cope up with the challenges while perusing goals in life", the IWCCI president added. "We are always engaged in situations that can be dubbed as walking on a tightrope to balance business, job and family life", she said adding that for doing so "we have to have time management skills". Samina said that there was growing body of evidence that a key factor in development of a country was entrepreneurial activity and the opportunity for anyone to engage business of choice.
