LONDON- Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Quaid, Altaf Hussain today said that the police violence and torture on the workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in different towns/cities of the province was beyond comprehension.

According to journalists, Altaf Hussain urged upon the government to refrain from perpetrating state terrorism, as it would further aggravate the already worsen situation.

MQM chief expressed his grave concern that even the women and children were not spared by police tortures.

He appealed to the government to shun using state power against the demonstrators by all means.
Altaf Hussain also expressed his heartfelt condolence to PAT chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri on the martyrdom of a woman worker at Sadhoki.
