ISLAMABAD- Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Affairs Irfan Siddiqui says continuity of democracy is imperative for the progress and development of the country.

In an interview, he said Pakistan achieved democracy after a difficult period. He said people chanting slogans of revolution were part of dictatorial regimes in the past. Irfan Siddiqui said the government will not allow any individual to destroy the parliamentary system.
