Sheikh Rasheed urges judiciary to take notice of government's restrictions

LAHORE- The Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rasheed today called upon the judiciary to take suo moto notice of barricades on roads and forced closure of petrol pumps in Punjab and Islamabad.

Addressing a press conference, Sheikh Rasheed said that judiciary should order the government to open petrol pumps and remove containers from roads.

He said the restrictions being put by the government have completely paralysed life in the capital and Punjab. “Imran Khan or Tahirul Qadri, whoever backtracks now, will lose his political credibility,” he observed. “August 13 will also be an important day. Anything can happen between August 14 and August 26,” he said.
