rawalpindi - Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan Saturday visited the residence of late Additional and District Sessions Judge Tahir Khan Niazi, who was gunned down by unknown killers, and extended his condolence with the bereaved family. The minister offered Fateha for the departed soul and expressed his heartfelt sympathies.

He assured the bereaved family that every effort would be made to arrest the culprits and bring them to justice. “I am sure the police and other law-enforcement agencies will soon arrest the killers,” Nisar added. The CPO Rawalpindi on the occasion briefed the interior minister about the progress made so far into the case.

The minister directed Rawalpindi police to further gear up its efforts, adding that they would have full support of the federal government organisations in this regard. The visit of interior minister was kept secret.

Tight security arrangements were made by police during the visit of the interior minister.
