LAHORE - Member Punjab Assembly Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said that Imran Khan cannot hoodwink the farmers through lip-service. According to a handout, Qadri said that so-called sympathizers of farmers should tell how many dams they have constructed in KP.

He said that before talking about flood in Punjab, Imran Khan should first pay attention to the situation in KP. Commenting on the statements of Imran Khan , Zaeem Qadri said the nation has right to ask whether poverty has been eliminated in KP villages. He said that farmers of KP have been disappointed due to badly neglected.

He said that Punjab government is farmer-friendly which launched a number of programmes for development of agriculture and welfare of farmers He said that subsidy is being given on agri implements to enhance production in Punjab and with the cooperation of World Bank, irrigation system is being further improved in the province. He said that undue criticism against government departments is the habit of Imran Khan . He said that head of Tehrik-e-Insaf should also take notice of corruption in KP police.
