LAHORE  - Finding the inauguration ceremony of Walton Overhead Bridge perfect event for making a political speech, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique rapped his opponents including MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

“Altaf Hussain should have mercy on his own party members and take back his threatening remarks against the Rangers,” Rafique said while urging the MQM chief to apologise to the nation for asking India and Nato forces launch operation in Karachi.

Where he said the people of Pakistan and the state institutions “disliked Altaf Hussain’s poisonous remarks”, he made it clear the people of Karachi would be protected from extortionists and target killers.

Furthermore, he grilled PTI chief Imran Khan for his ‘foul language’ used against the PML-N government. “Imran Khan’s lies have been fully exposed by the judicial commission report on the 2013 general election,” the PML-N’s staunch leader opined.

Later, the minister inaugurated the new building of Directorate of Legal Affairs at Railways headquarters. He said the department had been facing multiple problems to defend its cases on legal front, which would be resolved following the induction of new legal head and provision of better infrastructure.

The new appointments would be made on 24 seats in the directorate, he added.
