The meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is taking place in Quetta to decide about the beginning of Muharram-ul-Haram 1443 Hijri.

Chairman of the Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad is chairing the meeting.

The meeting of zonal committees for sighting of Muharram-ul-Haram moon is also underway in their respective areas.

The announcement whether the moon of Muharram-ul-Haram has been sighted or not will made by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

The final verdict on this matter has not yet been made.
