Smart lockdown to be imposed in selective districts of Punjab

The government of Punjab has imposed a smart lockdown on Monday in selective districts to curb the spread of fourth wave of COVID-19. 

As per the details, despite the lockdown, it is permitted to hold outdoor marriages with 300 guests. However, a strict implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) has to be ensured. 

It is pertinent to note that all sorts of indoor events including religious and cultural have been banned.
