GUJRANWALA - The Gujranwala Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has started collecting Rs550 certificate fee along with admission form of the Secondary School Annual Examination 2013.

The parents and teachers demanded early withdrawal of the unjust action of the BISE. They said that the BISE was regularly increasing admission fee for the examinations and now forcing the students to deposit certificate fee in advance which is not reasonable.

EDUCATION FACILITIES PLEDGED: Punjab Examination Commission Chief Executive Nasim Nawaz said that the examination system of primary and middle classes has been freed from corruption in accordance with the vision of Punjab chief minster.

He added that the PEC was utilising its all resources to improve the examination system. He was addressing a seminar held at Government Higher Secondary School Gujranwala. Additional DPI Bilal Qamar, EDO Education Shaukat Ali Tahir, EDO Secondary Ihsanul Haq along with officers from education department, private school owners and intellectuals were also present.

The chief executive said that separate centres would be set up for male and female candidates and all centres will be provided maximum facilities.

The additional DPI said that public sector school had been provided maximum facilities and provincial government would not compromise on missing facilities.
