LAHORE – The Government College of Home Economics held its 43rd annual convocation on Saturday.

Addressing the students as chief guest, Punjab Education Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rahman said the government was making all-out efforts to provide free education. He said that 40,000 students were getting scholarships from the Punjab Endowment Fund. He said that the Home Economics college was the unique institution of its kind which was contributing in the development of youth by providing quality education to students and is meeting the challenges of the modern times. He also congratulated the students and their parents on their brilliant success.

Principal Dr Samia Kalsom presented the annual report of the college highlighting the various projects of the college, curriculum and active participation of the students in dengue campaign, youth festival and other constructive activities.
