ISLAMABAD - The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Saturday reduced the LPG price by Rs 15 per kg in the country.

According to a press statement issued here, the LPG price has been reduced to Rs 125 per kg from Rs 140 per kg. The consumer price of produced LPG is Rs 1477 per 11.8kg cylinder. Meanwhile, the consumer price of local and imported mix LPG is Rs 1479 per 11.8 kg cylinder. Similarly, price of imported LPG has been fixed at Rs 1644 per 11.8 kg cylinder.

The press release further stated that due to the higher transportation cost in AJK, FATA and Northern Areas, Rs 30/11.8 kg cylinder would be admissible to these mentioned LPG consumer prices. The statement further stated that companies have been directed to ensure that LPG consumer prices of their company do not exceed above mentioned consumer prices.
