CALIFORNIA-Katy Perry is known for her confidence and her hit singles include the track Roar. She showed that she embodied the spirit of a feline as she appeared in a bold leopard-print dress at the The Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in London’s O2 arena on Saturday. The 29-year-old star went for a floor-length, hot pink creation, with a thigh-split for an effect which was enhanced with some black pointed-toe heels.

The dress also featured a slashed neckline which was fastened with safety pins for an edgy look. Katy wore her raven locks slicked up into a dramatic high ponytail while she completed her look with oversized gold hoop earrings and hot pink lipstick. The show, which is being opened by Olly Murs, sees Katy share the stage with the likes of Ellie Goulding and Tinie Tempah.

Roar singer Katy, who recently launched her latest album Prism, is performing at the opening night of this year’s Capital FM event, singing her favourite singles live on stage. Union J, Rizzle Kicks, Disclosure and Naughty Boy are also set to perform for 16,000 lucky fans and listeners at home.

The second night of the Jingle Bell Ball, taking place on Sunday, will see the likes of Lady Gaga, Dizzee Rascal, Rudimental, Jessie J, The Vamps, John Newman, Lawson, Little Mix and Jason Derulo.

Meanwhile, Tinie Tempah has revealed to Capital that he hopes to chat with Katy backstage at the event. He even hinted that they could discuss a potential future collaboration.

He said: ‘I definitely want to have a chat with her because I’m a big fan of her and we were actually signed to the same label in America a while ago, so it would be great to talk to her. ‘Maybe talk about a collaboration one day who knows.’
