Rescue 1122 has started a two-days training workshop with the theme of “Basic Life Support Orientation” at Govt Model High School here from Monday. Rescue Safety Officer Muhammad Shahid conducted the workshop proceedings.

A group of 30 students were selected and imparted training as to how to rescue lives during fire incidents, drowning in water, snake biting and heart attacks. The students were found very committed and taught the first aid measures to be taken under these situations both theoretically and practically. The Rescue Safety Officer said that students would be able to take corrective measures to save the lives in such emergencies after completion of training.

Media Focal Person Ali Akbar and FR of Rescue team Irfan Manzoor practically demonstrated the situations and ways to overcome and rescue lives.

Principal Javed Ashraf Shooka, Science Teacher Khurram Latif, school staff and general public appreciated the step taken by Rescue 1122 for these life saving activities at school level.
