DHA renovates Zamzama Park

KARACHI - The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has renovated the Zamzama Park.

A DHA spokesman said on Thursday that Zamzama Park in DHA Phase-V spread over an area of 26 acres of land, and was a popular park where people of all socio-economic segments and especially residents of the nearby residential areas were seen walking, jogging and taking refreshing exercises.

“The park has recently been renovated, refurbished and substantial improvements have been made in the public facility to rejuvenate the park in all its forms and manifestations,” he added.

The spokesman further informed that visible improvements included revamped lighting arrangements including fixing of more track lights/lamp posts, renovation/repairs of washrooms, placement of litter bins, placement of additional wooden benches and renovation/improvement of cafeteria. “Walkthrough gates have been repaired, lawn developed on barren spots and lots of horticulture works, including flowers and beautiful rockeries have made the park even more beautiful,” the spokesman added.

DHA, through a network of parks, is providing a greener, cleaner and aesthetically vibrant living environment to its resident and public alike, the spokesman added.
