PESHAWAR - Frontier Corps Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday foiled an attempt of ‘terrorists’ to infiltrate into Pakistan from Afghanistan in Lower Kurram.

According to the details, a patrolling party of Frontier Corps detected the movement of alleged terrorists and reacted in time. In the ensuing fire exchange, an alleged terrorist was killed and his body was taken into custody.

The FC team also seized an SMG, one SMG bandolier, five magazines, some grenades and 145 bullets.

According to information, the alleged terrorists were intended to carry out a large scale terrorist activity in Hangu and Thall areas, which was foiled by quick and accurate reaction.
