LAHORE - Secretary of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Najam Ahmed Shah has constituted a special board for medical checkup and treatment of members of family of Muhammad Zubair from Haveli Lakha.

The secretary sprang into action after the Punjab chief minister took notice of a report about the family suffering from hypercholesterolemia.

The board under Prof Faisal Masood, University of Health Science vice chancellor, will meet periodically to review the condition of patients and treatment.

The board will ascertain the nature of disease and propose course of management as well as to assess estimated cost. The findings of medical board will be furnished to the department on a weekly basis.
