KARACHI - The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants has accorded special recognition to the members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) in the form of an evaluation of experience programme.
An ICAP statement here on Friday said that according to this programme the ICAP members with 12 years experience and with five years at senior level, are now eligible to become members of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants without appearing in any further examinations. It said that this is a significant proof of the distinguishing status and acceptability of ICAP members by the CICA.
This recognition opens up new avenues of global mobility of our CAs, the statement added.
