HAFIZABAD - The inhabitants of Habib Ganj and adjacent localities took out a rally to protest against prolonged power and gas loadshedding and raised slogans against the Gepco and the SNGPL.
Led by Malik Ateequr Rehman hundreds of students, teachers, traders and housewives marched upto Fawara Chowk. They blocked the traffic for half an hour.
They demanded reduction in duration of power loadshedding and increase in the pressure of sui gas to enable them to make their livelihood and to cook meal.
PPP FLAYED: PML-Z Chief Muhammad Ejazul Haq said that the PPP government had failed to resolve the problems of the masses and had only indulged in corruption and caused unprecedented dearness, lawlessness, loadshedding during the last five years.
He said that now the PPP was hatching conspiracy to postpone general elections which would not be tolerated by the democratic forces in the country.
