PTI fearful of PML-N uplift agenda

KAMALIA: The Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf (PTI) is fearful of the development agenda of the PML-N and taking it as a threat for the next general elections, said MNA Chaudhry Asadur Rehman.
Talking to the party workers here the other day, the NA Standing Committee on Privileges Chairman urged the PTI to practice mature politics for the sake of the country.
He said that the PTI should accept the results of by-polls in Punjab, adding the government is striving for constructive politics in the best national interest.
He pointed out that the nation should also see as to who is carrying forward the development agenda and who is impeding the process. He said that the nation should take notice of the negative politics of the party and hold them accountable for their deeds.
He said that all necessary measures were being taken under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the development of industries, increase in job opportunities and investment besides elimination of energy crisis.
He said that work is underway at a brisk pace on a number of energy projects with investment of billions of rupees and thousands of megawatts electricity would be available in 2017-18 with the completion these projects.
The MNA said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, efforts are being made round-the-clock to eliminate poverty, ignorance, unemployment and loadshedding adding that problems of the country would be resolved due to sincere efforts of the government.
TBA polls
Haji Zahir Group made a clean sweep in Kamalia Bar Association elections held here the other day. According to results, Haji Zahir Group’s candidate Rai Niaz Ahmed Khan was elected as new TBA President while Rai Nayyar Abbas Marth was elected Secretary General with a huge majority.
Similarly, Rana Tariq Javed returned successful on the slot of Vice President with 104 votes while his opponent Sheikh Imtiaz got 42 votes. Chaudhry Hassan Ijaz Akhtar Gujjar was elected as Joint Secretary by getting 93 votes while his opponent Mehr Mohammad Niaz got 58 votes.–OUR STAFF REPORTER

For Librarian seat, Chaudhry Munawar Zaman was declared successful while his opponent Mohammad Khalid Imran Baghela got 64 votes.
The lawyers who were supporting Haji Zahir group danced Bhangra on the beat of Dhols. Fabulous fireworks were displayed and sweets were distributed in large quantity in celebration of victory.
