LAHORE - Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has inaugurated ‘Wall of Kindness’ set up by students of PU Institute of Communication Studies near Firdous Market, opposite Jam-e-Shirin Park.

ICS Incharge Dr Noshina Saleem, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.

The students including Haris Bhatti, Husnain Nasir, Salman Alam, Asad Khan, Hanan and others were inspired from another wall of kindness established in Iran where generous people leave their clothes, shoes and other items for deserving people.

The wall is painted by the students of University College of Art and Design.

Talking to the media, the vice chancellor said that Pakistani nation was the most generous nation of the world and the people who gave donations were in large number.

Lauding the initiative of ICS students, Dr Kamran said that only deserving people had the right to benefit from the Wall of Kindness who were in need of such things and did not want to beg from others. Chairman Akhwat Foundation Dr Amjad Saqib also visited the Wall of Kindness.
