PESHAWAR - The Provincial Development Working Party on Thursday approved six developmental projects with an estimated cost of Rs11531.707 million.
The approval was given at a meeting of PDWP chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah.
The meeting among others was attended by its members and respective administrative secretaries.
According to details, the forum considered 11 projects pertaining to different sectors, including Higher Education, Health, Urban Development and Roads for the uplift of the province.
Five projects were deferred due to inadequate design.
Approved projects included establishment of Women University in Mardan, construction and rehabilitation of Water and Sanitation infrastructure within the jurisdiction of WSSP and construction of office building of WSSP, completion of incomplete Molkoh Road, Boni Bridge to Boni Bazar via Bazar to Government Guest House in Mastuj area of Chitral, construction of road from Balambat Timergara to Kalpani Maidan Link Road Dir Lower, feasibility, reconstruction and rehabilitation of roads i.e. Alladad Khel to Village Kani Teshil Shabqadar, Ziam Rest House to Salgaray via Gud Killi Chowk Shamsabad, Village Cheena to Dildar Ghari, UCs Ziam, Sherpao Charsadda (12 KM) and construction of Southern Link Road (Circular Road), Bannu.
