Since the day Governor Punjab was assassinated, I have been receiving SMS messages and emails from anonymous individuals which have been quite disturbing. These messages are meant to play with the sentiments of the people. The only reason for these messages, which comes to my mind, is that some mischievous elements in our society want to further aggravate an already bad situation. It is my personal appeal as a concerned citizen that people should ignore such messages and even report it if necessary to the proper authorities. HASSAN BASHIR, Islamabad, January 8.
