ISLAMABAD - Army, Navy and Wapda Wednesday brushed aside their respective opponents in straight games on the third day of the POF Chairman Challenge Cup Volleyball Tournament 2014 at POF Sports Gymnasium Wah Cantt. In the first match of the day, Army thrashed KPK 3-0. Army won the first game 25-17, second 25-16 and the third 25-21 to win the match. In the second match, Navy had to dig deep to overcome POF side and won the encounter 3-2. Surprisingly, it was POF, who took the first game 25-20, but Navy fought back in the second game to win the game 25-20 and the third 25-23. POF boys once again showed fighting spirit and won the fourth game 25-21, before losing the fifth and deciding game 25-21. In the third and last match of the day, Wapda outclassed Punjab 3-0.–Staff Reporter
