LAHORE - After getting inadequate response from the civil servants against the previously-issued directive, the Punjab government has again issued letter to all subordinate departments requiring public servants to furnish the details of their respective assets both moveable and immovable.  According to sources, the government warned the superintendents, deputy superintendents, clerks and other junior staff to declare their assets within one week; otherwise they would be subject to strict action.  It may be mentioned that the Punjab government had required the civil servants of low cadre to provide complete details of their assets to the authority, but most of them failed to comply with the directive.–Staff Reporter
