The teachings of Islam and sunnah (PBUH) are the best way to ensure peace, harmony, tranquillity, and prosperity in society and Muslims can avail all those qualities only through following the golden principles of Islam and the Sunnah (PBUH).

This was stated by IUB VC Dr Muhammad Mukhtar at the concluding session of a week-long Education and Training workshop of the “Moulaemeen of the Deeni Madarras” here the other day.

He remarked that Ulema could play active role to develop brotherhood, harmony and solidarity in the society as inter-sect and inter-religious harmony was the need of the hour.

He urged the ulema to shun all differences and utilise all their energies for the service of religion and society.

The training workshop was jointly arranged by the HEC and the IUB Faculty of Islamic Learning which was largely attended by scholars, Ulema and moualaemeen of the deeni madaras from all over the country. Speaking on the occasion, Sargodha Bhera Darul Aloom Principal Muhammadia, Dr Syed Noorul Hassan Shah Al-Azhri in his address termed the workshop a good sign.
