LAHORE - The healthy sporting activities are in full swing throughout the province and on the fourth day, around 127,000 participants exhibited their prowess in various events and 34,000 had smile on their faces.

In 22 UCs of Shalimar Town, 347 appeared in competitions like athletics, badminton, billiards and cricket tape ball while 132 returned home joyous. In badminton, Ubaidullah secured first while and Tariq was second. In billiard, Kh Umar was winner as he moved past Ali Raza. Umair turned out to be the fastest athlete of Shalimar Town Lahore during the Punjab Youth Festival 2014 Union Council level.  In six UCs of Iqbal Town, 276 took part in various events and among them, 53 were title grabbers. In cricket event, Mudassar XI beat Basheer XI. In 16 UCs of Nishtar Town, 346 players showed their skills in different events but 143 were better of them all. In billiard, Shahid Ali beat Yawar Ali to lift the title. In cricket match, Nafees XI were victorious. The 23 UCs of Ravi Town saw participation of 650 players and 137 were the winners. In 23 UCs of Samanabad, out of 723 players, 139 returned home with titles. Abrar Hussain XI here won the cricket match.

In 24 UCs of Data Gunj Bakhsh, 735 players participated in various activities and 148 proved their mettle. In 20 UCs of Gulberg Town, 638 players were seen in action and 82 were victorious. Tanveer XI won the cricket match. Aziz Bhatti Town earned the honour of the most participated area where 3369 players of 23 UCs amused the spectators with their sporting abilities but just 51 went ahead of them all. In one UC of Wahga Town, three were successful out 300 participants.

In Sheikhupura District of Lahore Division, 4416 players from 190 UCs took part in various events and 562 were the winners. Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar and Mandi Yazman Districts of Bahawalpur Division saw 11939 players of 640 UCs taking part in team and individual events and 4321 took their titles. Jhelum and Chakwal Districts of Rawalpindi Division involved 303 UCs and their 1443 players out of 6328 were victorious.

Khanewal and Multan City of Multan Division had the involvement of 396 UCs and 4318 players and among them, 1785 were winners. From 415 UCs of Vehari, 4738 players appeared in different events and 1560 returned home as title winners.
