Foreign policy

Year 2014 passed with mixed feelings, what with victory in Hockey Champions Trophy and sorrow over the terrorist incident in Peshawar. This tragic incident has finally brought the whole nation on the same page. Besides the internal security risk Pakistan is also facing tremendous external threat by its Eastern neighbour. The continuous aggression from India is a grave threat to our sovereignty. It is time we had a formulated National Foreign Policy to deal with them and a Foreign Minister. No doubt India is rising as a large economy of Asia but international law does not permit any country to attack a neighbouring country. The issue needs to be raised on international forum like UN. Pakistan needs to have strong stance to present in order to gain international support in its favour.
