HAFIZABAD - All the judicial magistrates/judges must dispose of cases on merit to provide justice to the litigants, District and Sessions Judge (DSJ) Ch Nawaz said.

He said that sessions and civil courts in the district had disposed of 27,083 out of 27,453 civil and criminal cases during 2017.

He further said that Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Centre established according to the vision of LHC Chief justice Mansoor Ali Shah showed remarkable results. He added that 302 out of 412 compoundable civil and criminal cases had been amicably decided with the free will and consents of the parties from June to Dec 31, 2017. He appreciated ADR centre Incharge Raza Nasir and Senior Civil Judge.

DSJ Ch Nawaz appointed civil judges - Inshallah Naveed Sadiq and Waseem Anjum as special judges to hear the cases under the Punjab Food Authority Act 2016 at Hafizabad and Pindi Bhattian districts.
