KARACHI - Federal Minister for Climate Change Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan held here an advisory session with the leadership of PML-N Sindh, particularly of Karachi.

A statement here Monday said that the Federal Minister in that regard presided over a meeting and exchanged views with local leadership on the directives of President of Pakistan Muslim League-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

The minister held consultation on how to remove any bottleneck in party’s organisational structure, address the difference, if any, among various groups within the party, it added.

The meeting was attended among other by President PML-N Karachi Syed Munawar Raza, parliamentary leader in KMC Aman Afridi, Chairmen UCs, Choudhari Nawaz Olukh, Nadeem Akhtar Arian, Habibur Rehman, Party Vice President of Sindh Chapter Ali Akbar Gujar and others. The Karachi’s leadership presented various suggestions on how to strengthen party in Sindh and the problems being faced by them.

In next general elections, he said that masses would make accountable those who were against their development and reject the politics of confrontation.

In 2018 general elections people will bury forever, the politics of liars and allegations, he added.

Senator Mushahid informed the meeting that restoration of peace in city is a gift of Nawaz Sharif for Karachiites. Peace in Karachi is prerequisite for the economic development of the country, he added.

The minister said that after restoration of peace in Karachi, the federal government was focusing on various welfare projects and in this regard launched a number of development projects.

He, in this regard referred to mega K-4 project and said that it when completed, solve the problem of potable tap water for the citizen.

Criticizing, the PPP’s provincial government, senator Mushahid said that unfortunately, because of inefficiency it turned the city into the heap of garbage.

The Karachi once popularly known as “city of lights” is now showing a bad picture. He said that credit goes to PML-N government that ended the loadshedding from the country and launched various mega projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
