KARACHI (PPI) - Sindh Minister for Health Dr Saghir Ahmed has condemned the series of bomb blasts in Karachi and termed it a conspiracy to sabotage the peaceful environment and create lawlessness, adding that government would thwart this conspiracy with the cooperation of masses. Visiting the injured of blast at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, the minister expressed solidarity with them. He also equally shared the grief with grieved families. He said that following the blasts, emergency had been imposed in all the government hospitals and leaves of all the doctors and paramedics cancelled, adding that the staff was ordered to remain on duty for 24 hours. He assured injured of their treatment on government expenses. Dr Saghir further said that government had ordered for provision of all required medicine in the emergency departments of the government hospitals of the province. He said that anti-social elements wanted create unrest and anarchy in the country to destabilize the democratic government and to weaken the economy. He was optimistic that these anti-social elements could not succeed in their evil designs. He said that there ad been a conspiracy to fan ethnic riots in the city but people from all walks of life foiled this conspiracy. Dr Saghir applauded the efforts of doctors and paramedics for providing better treatment to the victims. Minister also paid a rich tribute to the city nazim for his efforts.
