City likely to receive rain

LAHORE - Local meteorological department has forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of rain for the City during the next 24 hours. Met office has forecast scattered rains for Lahore, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi divisions, isolated rains for Faisalabad and Sargodha divisions and mainly dry weather for the remaining parts of the province. The met office has forecast scattered rain for NWFP, Kashmir and at isolated places of Northern Balochistan and Eastern Sindh. According to the experts, seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan. Weak southwest current from Arabian Sea is reaching Punjab upto 5000 feet. On Tuesday, maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 36.2 degree Celsius and 27 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 68 percent which decreased to 45 percent in the evening. On Tuesday, Islamabad received 57 mm rain, Sialkot 49 mm, Attock 46 mm, Hunza and Faisalabad 38 mm each, Rawalpindi 33 mm, Sargodha 31 mm, Kotli 27 mm, Jhelum 25 mm while Gilgit received 20 mm rain. Muhsarraf-Altaf alliance A security risk Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed has said that the Musharraf Altaf alliance was dangerous for the solidarity of Pakistan. He was addressing the concluding session of three day training workshop of shura members from Rawalpindi divisions here at Mansoora on Tuesday.
