OUR STAFF REPORTER KARACHI - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has expressed grief and concern on Monday's bomb blasts in the metropolis and dissatisfaction over the poor performance of law-enforcing agencies.      He strictly directed for further strengthening of security measures keeping in view the latest incident. He said the police and Rangers should remain vigilant so that anti-state and anti-people elements could not succeed in their conspiracies. He was presiding over a high-level meeting on law and order in the province, especially in Karachi. The meeting reviewed in detail the situation after the bomb blasts in various parts of the city. Syed Qaim Ali Shah stressed full coordination between law-enforcing agencies and security personals to ensure security of lives and properties of the people. He said that only joint effort of government and the people would foil the evil designs of criminals in future. The Chief Minister was also briefed in detail about yesterday's incidents. The meeting was informed that a total of seven blasts occurred in the metropolis on Monday and out of those two were very serious.  It was decided in the meeting that the areas where the bomb blasts occurred would be provided facilities of electricity, water and sewerage. The meeting lauded the spirit people for showing unity and cohesion and hoped that they would foil the nefarious designs of anti-people elements. Chief Minister directed the members of investigation committee, A.D Khawaja DIG Police and Aleem Jafri DIG Police to submit their report within tow days about causes of incidents. He also directed Additional I.G Police Special Branch Saud Mirza to prepare a separate report about different aspects of Monday's incidents. It was also decided that the person who provides information and names of persons involved in bomb blasts will be given a reward of Rs 1 million while his own identity will be kept secret.
